Lovingly restored to reflect its original design and architecture, the cottage makes for a perfect hideaway during your adventure-filled getaway. Its quaint atmosphere provides a cozy retreat amidst the thrill of exploration.

The cottage is available for private dining, offering a custom menu of traditional national dishes made from locally sourced ingredients from our Chef’s Garden and nearby farms. You can also indulge in culinary events, such as private cigar and whiskey experiences or Rwandan cooking classes.

Jack Hanna first visited Rwanda in 1984, captivated by the endangered mountain gorillas. He quickly fell in love with the country, its warm-hearted people, vibrant culture, and breathtaking wildlife, making it his cherished second home.
